Your tasks during our growth journey:

As a Senior Data Engineer at Codento, you work in a responsible consultant position by planning and utilizing Google Cloud tools in Business Intelligence, Cloud, and Data Engineering to help our customers.

You’ll be working with our team in Norway and collaborating with other Nordics to open new cloud and AI business. You also help the sales team to open up customer relationships with your expertise.

You work very hands-on with cloud technology tools that deepen and expand your already possessed know-how. You will learn a lot, especially about Google Cloud tools, and that is also expected of you in this position.

When you join us, we expect you to have:

• Strong skills in

  • Python, SQL, APIs

  • Data architecture and data modeling

  • Data warehousing and SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Integration and pipelines

  • Google Cloud engineering

  • Business Intelligence tools and visualization

• Strong background in creating production-grade code and working in the consulting business

• Very good written and spoken communication skills in English
  

It would be great if you also had experience in some of these:

• Track record of leading projects/teams

• Understanding of AI tools and agents

• Google Cloud certifications

• Language capabilities in Norwegian, Finnish, or Swedish

Some practical stuff

The recruitment process for the position will consist of 3-4 interviews. There will be talks e.g. with the country manager and technical experts, diving into the consulting business and technology. Also, we can always make room for more talks with the team if during the process you want more interaction with your possible colleagues of the future.
